Hej
Er der nogle der ligger inde med et diagram over styrringen for en HVK 10 fra 1981. Jeg håber et diagram kan løse nogle af de spørgsmål der melder sig i forbindelse med en evt. omprogramering.

Hello, can anybody tell me what HVK Vestas means? Is this the old name before Vestas?

Nice Regards from Austria
Klaus

Hi Klaus

HVK means "Herborg Vind Kraft" = Herborg Wind Power, Herborg is the name of a small village. Outside this village a blacksmith and Inventor named Karl Erik Jørgensen lived. He developed a turbine design, that was later purchased by Vestas. (1979) Consequently the first Vestas Turbine was called HVK Vestas V10 30 kW ( 10 m diameter) and the next : HVK Vestas V15 55 kW ( 15 m diameter)..

read about it here:http://www.windsofchange.dk/WOC-77-81.php

If you subscribe - you will also be able to download all the early brochures from Vestas and HVK.

On Google Earth you can type "Herborg", for the village. Just 1 km straight south - you will find Øster Herborvej 4, where HVK was working.(Still a turbine running)

Good Luck

Erik
