Hi together,
The area "Parts wanted" is not the 100% right for this, but its the best i think. I'm collecting windturbinemodels and now i'm requesting if anybody have some models and will sell them to me. Maybe Eric know some turbineowners which have nice models, I will pay for them, no problem.
It will be great if anybody can help me in my hobby
Regards from Austria

Hi Klaus
Vestas sells small models of around 30 cm height , I guess you know..
Earlier NEC-Micon made models in the same size..
In 1986 I made a number of scale 1:20 or 1:15 models of Nordtank and Bonus 55 kW Turbines... some 1.6 meter high - with a 12 volt power supply and a DC gear motor to turn the rotor... Perhaps 20 - 30 of these models were made...
Most of these went to California - and one was (is still) lost in Estonia (Riga..) (It was a loan, but I never got it back). Most turbines were given by Bonus or Nordtank as a gift to the US companies, that entered a deal with these Danish companies...
They were true scale models with correct colours etc...
What size do you think of ? big or small models ?
Best regards

Hi Erik,
That sounds very good, but such nice models like the Nordtank are hard/impossible to get. The Vestas V90 models are nice, i have much of them. I'm looking for all sizes, the most I have are normal table models like the Vestas models, but I also have one model with 1,20m hubheight.
Maybe you can get such a Nordtank or Bonus 55kW model from USA back?
nice regards
