I have a set of Aerostar 5M blades, or at least I think I do. The old Alternegy literature that I have on these blades (given to me when I bought the used blades from a local) mentions that the blade profile is a NACA 4415. However, when I measure the profile, it seems much different. The maximum thickness is more like 25% of the chord length, rather than 15% that the NACA 4415 should be. The camber also seems different. Can you help me determine what blade profile I'm dealing with?

I can tell you that it is for certain a 5 Meter FRP blade. The root of the blade is the Hutter root system. The max blade width at root is 26". The blades employ a centrifugal blade tip brake. The blade twists slightly from root to tip. From the info I can find on here my blade does not appear to be a "super" 5 M blade.

Your help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
